We have received the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science for the three teacher training programmes. One of the objectives of the “Changing with Climate” project is to increase teachers’ competences on the topic of climate change. We set out to train 120 teachers from the target regions of the project partner schools. The programs were developed by the leading expert of the project – Kliment Mindjov and consulted by the training expert and project manager Mariana Bancheva. Among the trainers are the teachers from the project partner schools, which will give them the opportunity to develop and gain experience as trainers.

The topics are:
- Environmental education in schools – climate change and effects on economic sectors – UIN 90930064, 2 credits
- Environmental education in schools – the impact of climate change on environmental components – UIN 90930065, 2 credits
- Environmental education in schools – climate change, natural disasters and human health – UIN 90930066, 1 credit
The programs are aimed at helping teachers implement the State Education Standard for Civic, Health, Environmental and Intercultural Education, providing opportunities for planning school-based interdisciplinary projects and implementing project-based education, building bridges between the content of different subjects – Geography and Economics, Biology and Health education, Chemistry and Environmental protection, Physics, Technology and Entrepreneurship, Man and society, native studies, Man and nature.
